This event is about reaching out to diverse campus populations through meaningful conversations and is aimed at promotiong studying abroad among High School and College students.
Since this event is associated with the Oregon chapter, I decided to create an accompanying hand drawn scene of Oregon’s city scape with Mt. Hood in the background. The blue skies with the clouds represent to everyone that the sky is the limit. The pastel palette creates an open space that is youthful, inviting, and full of positivity.
This inspired me to reflect on the kind of design styles and imagery that would spark the most attention out of this group. I decided to take the design in a hand drawn direction with the event title paying a slight nod to the School House Rock design. The design is filled with historical landmarks from around the world to speak to the global aspect of the event.
