"We Know the Gift Card Space" is an ad campaign that was created for gift card consulting agency Powerhouse Brands Consulting. This campaign plays with the concept of "launching gift card programs" and the "gift card space" in a playful, illustrative way.
Using space as a central theme, I wanted to create a visual that was limited to a four-color palette and heavy in texture. With the addition of highlights and shadows, it was my goal to take this illustration from a flat, 2D rendering to a piece of artwork that felt layered and 3D. The end design results in a digital paper, pop-up aesthetic.
Once finished, this piece was translated to become a full-page magazine ad, vertical and horizontal digital ads, a homepage banner, a footer for email blasts, as well as other promotional collateral.
